In 2020, I embarked on an exciting chapter with Cann, an innovative beverage start-up, where I assumed the role of Senior Account Manager as the company's 16th employee. Joining a one-year-old company provided me with the opportunity to wear multiple hats and make a significant impact across multiple facets of the business including sales, marketing, and operations. During my first quarter, I hit 118% to target, successfully onboarded 17 new accounts, and negotiated par-lines with top-tier partners.

Recognizing my contribution and dedication, I earned a promotion to Director of Key Accounts within just two quarters. In this elevated role, I managed the company's highest revenue-generating accounts in California, overseeing ~$1M in annual sales. During this time, I launched a custom SKU in collaboration with Sweet Flower and acclaimed artist Tove Lo. This innovative partnership not only generated exclusive buzz but also significantly increased velocity within one of our top accounts. The success of this initiative underscored my ability to cultivate unique collaborations that drive brand awareness and enhance sales performance.

In 2021, I joined LEVEL, a cutting-edge Cannabinoid research and development company specializing in effects-based solutions for pain, sleep, energy, and more. As the Key Accounts Manager for California, I played a pivotal role in generating ~$5.2M in annual revenue. Notably, despite a challenging 14% YoY decline in the cannabis industry (source: Headset Data), I consistently outperform expectations, securing top revenue performer bonuses for four consecutive quarters. My strategic approach and dedication have also contributed to a remarkable 17% YoY growth in LEVEL's key account revenue.

Currently, I operate as the General Manager of California where I manage a team of four talented Regional Account Managers and drive $10MM in annual revenue. In December 2023, I collaborated with C-suite to tackle a big challenge: how to expand our market share and compete more effectively in a rapidly changing landscape. While our flagship brand held (and continues to hold) an impressive 51% share of market in the tablet category, it wasn't positioned to compete directly with the rising tide of price compression. This left a significant gap in the market - and an opportunity. After months of in-depth analysis and strategic planning, The Tablet was launched - aimed to expand our reach and capture untapped potential. Within just 8 months, we were able to grow The Tablet into a #3 tablet brand in California by account penetration, solidifying our dominance in the category. With the success of our new brand, it was essential to prevent any cannibalization of our flagship brand. By implementing targeted strategies, we achieved significant results: accounts carrying both brands saw an 8.9% lift in LEVEL's performance compared to the months prior to onboarding The Tablet. By leveraging data and refining strategies, I've delivered measurable growth, including double-digit month over month increases in new product placements, and significant uplifts in forecasted revenue.
